Postilion.

The AI dispatcher for small fleet operators. Postilion routes jobs, predicts maintenance, and writes the daily run-sheet — so the depot manager isn't on Excel at 6am.

What it actually does.

Eight jobs that used to live in the depot manager's head, the back of a clipboard, or a 4-tab Excel sheet. Now they live in Postilion — and write themselves at 06:00.

01

Writes the run-sheet.

Reads jobs, drivers, vehicles, last-mile constraints — outputs a sequenced run-sheet for every depot. Ready before the kettle boils.

02

Re-routes around the real world.

Live traffic, weather, customer-window changes, driver call-outs. Postilion adjusts and tells the driver in WhatsApp.

03

Predicts the breakdown.

Telematics + maintenance history fed to a vehicle-health model. Flags a service window before the part fails.

04

Reads the paperwork.

POD photos, fuel slips, supplier invoices — OCR'd, matched, filed. The Friday-night-admin tax disappears.

05

Watches driver hours.

DVSA caps tracked in real-time. Reshuffles routes before someone tips into an offence — not after.

06

Talks to your customers.

"Where's my van?" answered in your tone, not a chatbot's. Escalates to a human only when it should.

07

Costs out every job.

Fuel, time, vehicle depreciation, driver cost — per-job P&L on the manager's home screen. The unprofitable run is named.

08

Stays out of the way.

Postilion lives where your depot already does — WhatsApp, email, the existing TMS. We add an AI layer, not a 14th tab.

From kettle to kerbside.

A typical morning at one of our pilot depots — between the moment the depot manager arrives and the first van rolling out.

06:00

Pull overnight data.

Last night's jobs, returned POD photos, vehicle telematics, weather, traffic forecast — all in.

06:05

Draft the run-sheet.

Postilion proposes routes, driver pairings, service windows, customer comms. Manager reads, edits, approves.

06:30

Brief the drivers.

Each driver gets their run on WhatsApp — vehicle, drops, expected hours. Driver thumbs-up acknowledges.

07:00

Kerbside.

Vans rolling. Postilion's now in flight mode — answering customers, rerouting, watching hours, until they're home.

I used to do Sunday nights on the run-sheet for hours. Postilion gives me Sunday back, and the depot still runs better on Monday than it ever has.
